Good morning everyone! I’m up early and decided to get the blog done before things get frantic around here. It’s time for the dogs to spaz out while we prepare for the road.

We (and when I say we I mean Dave) have a lot to do before we hit the road. The slide out has to be fixed and the Jeep has to be hooked up. The tanks have to be emptied and I have to get everything stowed away and secured to travel.

We need to get at it pronto, because it will be very hot soon. I didn’t want to waste time with a walk this morning, so taking the dogs out will have to do. I take care of the inside jobs unless he needs my help outside…which in this case, he might.

Yesterday we did get to visit a good while with long ago friends; Joanne and Cameron. I forgot to take a picture f them, so she graciously gave me one to use!

We had a fabulous visit catching up on everything, then went out to lunch together, after which we visited some more! As for Joanne and I, it was like we’d never been apart! We talked about the lifestyle, (they travel some in their RV too) her kids and mine, the places they’ve been and the future. They have e-bikes also and love to ride. I wish the could have come sooner, but this trip was for their Anniversary and the condo where they’re staying was gifted to them by Cameron’s brother. Wasn’t that sweet?

Well I smell the coffee, so it’s time to get up and at it. Hate to cut it short, but you know, gotta get busy and beat the heat! Have a great Monday and I’ll return once we get “home.” But first, coffee!!
