#One-Liner Wednesday

: “A beautiful body perishes, but a work of art dies not.” Leonardo da Vinci

In other news, I finished one wip, and painted a brand new practice piece. These are different than what I’ve been putting out lately.

This is the one I finished, adding the daisies once the piece was dry.

The new piece, I should have raised it a bit before photographing because there a glare on the pic.

So far, all my practice pieces are from ideas I’ve got from YouTube videos. I try to follow along, learning new techniques along the way. Soon I’m hoping I can paint something from my imagination. I wish I could achieve the dimension I want, my paintings still look as flat as my Inktober drawings, but maybe with practice I’ll get better.

We’ve also been watching Bob Ross a lot lately and I try to remember tips and advice from him as I paint.

  1. I’m sure you’ll get better with practice, but these are pretty darn good.
