Take A Walk with Me

I took a little longer walk today to make up for no walk yesterday. Around 35 minutes, my average lately.

I love cloudy days and today was just right; overcast, in the 70’s. I took a few pics including clouds, a cool old car, and another spooky decoration.

PS: I did some painting but have not drawn my Inktober post yet. Here is the gallery from my walk.

My painting from today-needs better light.

  1. Your painting is lovely and dramatic.

John would have looked carefully at the train tracks and told you how often it was used. If you were still listening, he would have told your what line it was, approximately when it was built, and what major things were shipped through there. You would have forgotten the facts by now.

    1. Haha! Well, this one is mainly used for transportation from Ft Worth to Grapevine. We have another in Richland hills (we are in Both Richland Hills) that goes all the way to Dallas. Years ago, before the TRE, the Tarantula train was the transport from grapevine to Downtown Ft a worth and you could ride a mystery dinner train. So cool!
Thanks for the kind words regarding my painting. ☺️ I usually like them better once they’ve dried, but this one is definitely not my best. I messed up my trees, I must master some techniques when painting trees!

  4. Walking and sightseeing is so healing and can be quite itchy. But with cooler weather the less of the itch factor.
