SoCS – She’s Baaaack!

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: starts with or contains “ph.” Find a word with the letters “ph” in it and use it as your prompt. Have fun!

Recently, one of my blogger buddies, Suze from Obsolete Childhood has returned to the blogosphere!

I’d call her on the phone, but she lost her husband since I’ve spoken to her and probably needs her privacy and space.

If you remember her, she is from Enid, Ok. and loves to do home projects and crafts. I’d been missing her and I’m so glad to see her back! She is a great photographer and storyteller.

Maybe she would welcome comments from anyone who knows her, and wants to welcome her back into the fold, as it were. She could use a bit of lifting up.

She’s not really ready to face a new year, and I can understand that. I’m not so much in the party mood either, I’m just ready to get relief and therefore, ready to get on all these upcoming appointments. Especially the potential nerve block injection.

That, and all the resting on my laurels is making me fat, not phat! The first thing I’m going to ask them is should I be resting or should I be trying to keep moving, because the Dr that looked at my MRI said to “take it easy” due to the spinal cord implications.

I certainly don’t want to trip, or fall, and hurt myself in a permanent way.

PS: We FINALLY got some mail yesterday and several Christmas cards got to us we’d been waiting on. My brother also sent me a gift card and (this is funny) 4 cookies for David, in a ziplock bag, stuffed in a puffy envelope! 😂🤣 Surprised they stayed whole!

Also funny, he sent a Grinch Christmas card with no name or anything on it! It was inside the envelope containing the rest of the mail, so I guess he figured it wasn’t necessary. 😉

Well, I can’t think of anything else phonetically that fits the prompt, so back to what I was doing (besides watching the Twilight Zone marathon on Scyfy.
