It’s Thursday again, but don’t despair! Instead of my usual drivel, I’ve adventures to share!
We haven’t been anywhere but the store for a while, so today we got out in search of a replacement for our bathroom door handle-to no avail.
That wasn’t enough. I wanted to see something new, so I suggested the Manatee Lagoon! We headed there and it was an enjoyable outing, even though the manatees didn’t make an appearance. 😔
All wasn’t lost however, I did buy myself a magnet and my granddaughter a cute stuffed manatee and a book about them.
We strolled around the museum and waterfront, then when leaving, a nice family took our picture after Dave took theirs in front of the manatee statue.
I tried to capture the fish we saw in the clear water, but my camera didn’t see what my eyes did.
After that, we stopped for a delicious lunch at a new to us place called La Bamba.
It was very good, and like I have for weeks, I declined the desired Margarita and had tea. The dish I ate was pulled pork, white rice, black beans, and plantains.
They even had real salsa and chips! I brought home leftovers and I’m still full two hours later!
I wish we did more outings like this maybe once a week! It was a nice break from the tv and rv for a while.😉😁
