I woke up in a good mood today because I knew I was going to get something done about my ragged, unpainted nails.

I got a basic, no frills pedicure and a gel manicure. Normally, this service includes a nice massage of your hands, feet, arms and legs.

Not today. I was shocked when I heard the price of such basic services, but I guess I shouldn’t have been. I’m in Florida, where everything is expensive even when you get less than normal.

I guess that includes services.

You can guess that after that, my mood had sombered quite a bit.

The good news is that I drove myself back and forth, which always improves my mood. ☺️
