I’m posting this before I work on The Sunday Message because I want to share the adorable kiddos we just went to celebrate.

Our friends, Dave and Robin, threw a birthday party for their one year old granddaughter-Gentry. Isn’t that a cute name?

(This block editor is not responding well. I chose a medium size, it goes to small. I try large, it’s half the page! Ugh!)

Gentry has a sister named Evelyn that we all call Evvy.

Alaina and her partner Mitch are the parents of these two cuties. The last time we were all together like this was at Evvy’s first birthday party!

Robin looked very much the busy grandma, herding kids and prepping food for the party while the rest of us tried to catch up with their parents and other ‘kids’ our age.

Robin’s other daughter-Emma- has a boy, Chase and a daughter Malie, who were also there. We visited with them, and Daves sister Kathy. Her kids are our kids’s ages and they weren’t there because they had other plans.

We saw Robin’s mom and her husband Larry, and Dave’s mom-Jo- and that was so nice to visit with them too. They are blessed to still have their moms, even though their original partners have long since passed away. It’s a very close, tight knit family that when all together gets to be quite a boisterous crowd.

Add to that, Mitch’s family…mom, sis, and her kids that were also there! I don’t know them as well, but this time I was at least introduced. Emma has a new boyfriend of about a year now, and his name is Eddie. He was herding their new puppy, a well-behaved mix of husky and Australian shepherd. He stayed right next to him with all that activity going on!

Somehow I missed getting Mitch in a picture nor did I get Dave Stubblefield (Robin’s hubby) either. I didn’t get Jo, Dave’s mom in a photo even though I thought I did.

I also forgot to mention Larry-hubby of Malinda, and his son Scott who were also there.
