This weekend is Mancos Days, a three day festival celebrating the beautiful Mancos Valley with all of the normal fare festivals boast.
It’s also time for SoCS and Linda’s prompt.
Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “ends with ‘itch.’” Find a word that ends with “itch” or use the word “itch.” Enjoy!

I was itching to get to the festival because I didn’t want to miss the Funky Parade. Yet I didn’t want to push David either, or rush him. So by the time we arrived, the parade was over.
We visited a few vendors than headed to the car show on the main drag. It had a few antiques, but some we also felt were just restored. A gallery of a few of the best.

What a difference from yesterday, when we ate good food, shopped around the vendors, walked the necessary steps, and visited our favorite art galleries.
My next goal was to make it to Fenceline Cider and see if they had a pear cider. What a bad glitch of luck, they were still closed and Dave didn’t want to hang around until two. He promised we’d get back before we left Echo Basin and we went n home.
Since then I’ve been writing, blogging, playing computer Mahjong, and generally relaxing. I had a breach somewhere that caused me to have to change my passwords, but there are so many compromised, I got bored dealing with it for today.
I have no idea if we are going back tomorrow, I think there is some kind of breakfast and a church service. Sundays are pretty busy for me with my own church service and blog recap that I sort of doubt it. Dave is starting to clean things up in preparation to leave…even though we aren’t going until next Thursday, and it’s only thirty minutes away.
