Hello fellow bloggers. Have you heard the news? About WPE and the CEO of WordPress, Matt Mullenberg?
Check it our here.
They say it could mean the end of blogging or at the very least, a huge disruption.
In other news, we went to dinner and hung out later with friends Kerry and Michelle. I apologize, not all the pictures came out perfect.

I have a pic of Dave and myself, with his newly shaven face, but it won’t sync right now. Who knew we’d have so many problems with wifi having the Starlink here?
We had a delicious meal at Frescos and came back to Kevin’s to hang out on the patio since the weather was beautiful.
Catching up and listening to music is one of our favorite things to do. As the night grew darker, we saw the moon rising quickly as shown in the feature photo.
We talked about our kids and how they are, a bit of gossip going on at thefamily “compound” where Michelle lives, and a concert she wants me to attend with her in November. But here is what made me the happiest. We actually discussed God, how I study, and what I want for the future.
It brought such joy not to be shunned or ignored and to learn that she also has a relationship with God. She has been my friend for around thirty years and we never discussed this?
We are both a work in progress and have issues that need work, but we are in a relationship. We are both believers. Hallelujah! It is refreshing to know I can discuss spiritual things with her and that be ok.
We also discussed how we are looking for a place and my desire to get back into the kinds of things I was doing when we lived in Southeast Texas. We were so happy and fulfilled there. I was working, and volunteering. I was involved with Sertoma. I went to church but wasn’t as involved as I could be. That will change when we find a new place that hopefully has a Bible Church.

We took silly selfies, of course, and around ten they left.
Dave and Kerry were having their own discussions and the night was enjoyed by all. Maybe next time we can do the same at their house. They live in a seated fifth wheel on the family compound, but we usually go to their daughter Brandy’s house when we visit. She has a nice big house.
I want to play games with them like they do for family game nights.
