What a weird prompt for today. I can’t think of a way to integrate it into a stream, but I can say that I think I came out of the womb singing!

As soon as I could talk, or maybe before, I was singing. I sang when my uncle Tony pulled out his guitar at family functions and the earliest age I remember doing that was about three.

I sing ads on tv, I sing to the radio, I sing when I’m supposed to be doing my exercises. I mean, when don’t I sing??

Now, do I have talent? As a singer? Doubtful. I can carry a tune, I can sing with a choir or a band, and yes, when I was younger my dream was to be a lead singer for a rock band. Since that never went past gathering the band members and having a few rehearsals, I settled. I once sang with a barbershop quartet, I sang in my church choir, and when I’m alone, I might really belt one out now and then.

Years of smoking, vaping, and screaming my lungs out at concerts all probably did a number on my vocal chords, so I’m guessing the dream is gone and I’m left with the memories. I used to sing like Mariah Carey, I tell myself, what happened?

Of course, to be a rock singer, really doesn’t take a smooth voice. Its just that you don’t see too many 64 year olds taking on that particular lifestyle 😂
