One-Liner Wednesday

What’s wrong with this picture?

My latest work was done yesterday and ill admit, I got in a hurry and made a big mistake. Why was I in a hurry? Well, there were people in the room, kids. I guess I wanted to leave because it was getting late and not being alone kind of messes with my creativity. In any case, have you found the critical mistake, cause my husband saw it immediately. Now I want to toss it, because of the flaw. Ah well, practice makes perfect!

  1. I guess I’m too focused on the beautiful sky, the water, and the tree to actually locate anything wrong with the photo. I hope you don’t toss it.

    1. Awe, you’re sweet, Tre. No, I’ll keep it but the stairs going down are all wrong. That’s what happens when you lose focus and get in a hurry.

      1. Ah, I saw them as being far away and into the distance… like not really accessible. Art is truly subjective.

      2. As I was just saying to Stephanie. Maybe the porch is too comfy to leave. Haha, happy accident.

    1. Well, yes! I don’t know what I was thinking, but I guess that’s what happens when you rush the ending. It would have been a decent painting had I thought it through.

  2. I agree it’s a beautiful picture I did not notice the stairs! Until Christina pointed it out.

    1. Lol, it’s pretty funny but like Bob Ross said, no mistakes, only happy accidents. Maybe its a statement to the comfort on the porch. You don’t need to leave, because its nice and cozy there. Haha.

  3. Nice painting, but the stairs don’t look as if they would be useable. 🙂
