My rocket is taking off leaving a blast of sound and smoke.
Dave and I had a blast in East Texas this week, getting to know all the cities around Cedar Creek Lake. We were house hunting. We liked a few, but one stood out. Once we mull it over, talk with our financial planners, and consider my medical issues, I’m praying that this is the one. Our new home base. It’s all the things we want and need. Close enough to walk to the lake, a town nearby, storage for the car, a shop for Davids tools, room to park the bus, two huge bedrooms, a bath and a half, a lovely outdoor entertainment area, and more. Of course, some things need to be fixed up and a driveway will need to be poured for the bus. All in good time…if we even get the house.
We didn’t cook once! We ate quick breakfast at the house and had lunch out every day, leaving no room for dinner. You’d think I might have dropped a pound, but I feel bigger than ever. The point of the story is we got to fast a big of the local quisine, from BbQ to Mexican food. It was all delicious.
