The Sunday Message

Todays message is based on Romans 7:1-14

Released from the Law, Bound to Christ

The law has authority only over someone as long as he lives. Didypu know that?

If you sleep with another while still married, you are committing adultery, however, if your spouse dies, you are free from the law to marry another.

The law of God was mean to point out the need for Savior.

Yes the law was good, and what I’m talking about here is the ten commandments, not the old covenant laws.

Yet even these cannot be followed perfectly. How often have you coveted what another has? You’ve broken a law then.

Disrespected your parents? Law broken.

Lusted after another. Committed adultery in your heart -therefore-broken law.

That’s why Jesus had to come, had to die on the cross. To atone for our sins.

We should be so grateful. Thankful. We should feel blessed because He loves us so much!!

He came to fulfill the law, which is still relevant today.

Yet without knowing God, the law is not enough.

Speaking of how much He loves you, I want to share a video if I can make it work that shows how much in a very powerful way. A friend shared it with me first. Try not to cry -I dare you-but know that I love you all too!

Well shoot, I can’t get it to work but I’ll try to post it on my Facebook page so you can find it there.

Another thing I want to share is a post about loving yourself by respecting your body, which I think is so very important but we all slip, or cheat, or otherwise treat our health like it’s not as important as our spiritual life. Please read and consider being my accountability buddy!

I thank you all for being here today, go share the gospel with someone!
