Card Declined

Lisa had not been to the Bistro in at least five years yet here she was waiting for what used to be her Fall favorite; warm apple cider with caramel flavoring added.
The barista walked up just then and said her card had been declined.
“Not again!” Lisa whined and the barista said, “Word.”
Fishing around for another card, she was able to grab her drink and sat at a table to make the inevitable call to her bank and stop activity on her card.
“Welcome to the Unity One fraud center, if you know your party’s extension, you may dial it at any time.”
After plugging in the correct numbers, Lisa waited to hear what she’d heard five times in the past three years; “I’m sorry but we’ve detected unauthorized transactions and we will stop all activities to your card but rest assured, a new card will be sent soon.”
