Well, I guess I’ll have to start today and work my way back. This is the month for appointments and the birthday week. It’s also Breast Cancer Awareness month, as well as the Walk For PKD, so its a very busy month. And here I am recovering from three months of accidents, injuries, and surgery.

I have been trying to throw it all into my writing, (since I’ve been sitting so much), plus it’s still hot here in Texas and doesn’t feel like Fall yet so…

Ode to Pumpkin Spice

Many folks like pumpkin spice,

They think it’s great on everything

Food, candles, scented wax,

Drinks, lattes, buns with flax

For me it only goes one place

Just one dessert, no lie

A perfectly triangular piece of pumpkin pie!

(and don’t forget the whipped cream!)
