WOD Challenge 2-6-20 Foreigner-Urgent

Today’s Word of the Day Challenge prompt is Foreigner-So I thought I would share one of my favs from this awesome band I grew up with.

 

Many of you guys may have never heard of this band, I encourage you to take a peek at some of their other chart toppers.

Songs like “Hot Blooded,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Cold as Ice,” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You” were still popular when I graduated and joined the Army, I remember hearing their songs even after I was stationed in Korea.

According to Wikipedia, they are one of the “world’s best-selling bands of all time” with worldwide sales of more than 80 million records, including 37.5 million records in the US.

    When music was music and concerts relied on actual performance and vocals with actual bands. I grew up with these guys too. This took me back. Listening with a smile on my face. 🙂

    I did not remember this song until the chorus but I totally remember the group, and the other songs that you listed! Had to chuckle a little when I looked at their style, LOL! Although I think it is coming around again!!
