I have had many a hobby through the years, and drawing was one of my earlier ones, so jumping on the Inktober bandwagon was destined to happen. Not that I’m any good, I just wanted to participate and kind of get back into it and see if it would rekindle my earlier fascination with drawing. And, it has! In this one, I practiced my shading with a graphite pencil, I think it adds that little something that was needed…even though I still need LOTS of practice, lol. His head does not look right on his body. 😉
Over the years, I have done everything from macramé, to making jewelry, I love having a hobby or two, and those of you who know me and/or follow me, know my latest love is diamond art painting, which I am still doing btw.
I may have to pull out my tools and see if I can repair a few pieces of jewelry I have laying around that got broken, maybe that will make me realize once and for all, if I should keep all my supplies or get rid of them because I can’t see as well anymore, and my hands don’t work like they used to either. We will see.
I hope you are all checking out all the great artists that are participating in Inktober this month, and you aren’t too hard on me and mine, lol. Remember, I haven’t done this in a very long time. 😉
PS: Dad and I got out and voted yesterday, after observing the long line twice, we went back right before it was time for folks to get off of work, and it worked out perfectly! I’m so glad that is behind us, now on to see what next month brings. 🙂
