A Shell of a Walk

I did not mean to walk two miles this morning, it just kind of happened!

This was worth it!

I wanted to get the sunrise, yet didn’t want to walk all the way to the beach. So I went to the pier next to Cline’s Landing to get the still beautiful shot on the water instead. That was a mile, counting a detour I took behind Grumbles Restaurant. There were too many buildings in the way there.

This is Cline’s Landing Condos

I could have got a ticket, I was walking so fast! I wanted the sunrise as close to the water as possible, but I was a little late due to the detour, I’m sure.

On the way back, I slowed my pace to prevent injury, and snapped a couple of photos.

And another sign out front of the newest Shell Shop.

I’ve been in this shop which features shells of all sizes but they are from other countries.
The old Liberty Hall.

I haven’t researched it yet, but the Liberty Hall building is either getting a makeover, or about to be moved like so many buildings around the island do. After storm damage, some buildings get moved around or repaired and restored.

At least I got a jump start on the day’s exercise and didn’t get a ticket in the process. ☺️
