It’s Saturday and you know what that means, my fine blogger buds. Time for SoCS brought to us by the lovely Linda G Hill. Today’s prompt word is spruce.
I’m getting very frustrated that I can’t find some of the blogs I follow regularly in my reader!! Dan Anton’s, for instance. I see the blog in my email, but when I look for him in the reader to comment, he hasn’t been there. I finally found him under the “likes” tab, but the comments were off.
Sorry, Dan, but the comment I had for you will have to wait I guess.
Thank goodness when you follow someone you get the blogs to your email. The reason I look for them in the reader to comment is because if I try to reply directly to the blog, I have to sign in over and over! I bypass that in the reader because I’m already in my Jetpack area.
Also, when my media file gets lots of pictures in it, my whole blog slows down. (Or it seems like it to me) When I thin them out, it seems to help.
The rain is coming down here in Florida and has been since early morning. In fact, it has been raining off and on here for a week! The temps have been on the cool side, but hey, I’ll take 50s thru 70s any day compared to 30s or lower!!
Yesterday we enjoyed a lazy day of watching Christmas movies and other cheesy kinds of movies. I love a romcom! I love the full-length movies I’ve been finding on YouTube! They are movies I never saw on regular tv even though they have big stars. Yesterday, I watched Fathers and Daughters. Not a romcom but very touching.
Well we are winding down to Christmas and I’m hoping the steroids I’m taking now will have me more pain free and a bit more mobile for my visit with my sister Barb and family. My gifts to the boys and brother were a hit so far, (Chris and Kevin probably get theirs today), and what cards I sent out have mostly been received.
I hope someone more tech savvy than me can help with my blogging query, cause that is the only area I can technically spruce up right now. We keep our tiny space pretty clean, but I did have to clean a spot of unknown origin off the carpet yesterday with some Resolve. It worked great! My other complaint is that we didn’t decorate, but then again, it just seemed a bother to both of us right now. I can’t blame Dave for not wanting to go under the bus for them when the rain hasn’t really let up much.
