We get the double whammy today with two prompts on Saturday, brought to us by Linda.

I love close up photography, and with that, I bring you the winners of the Cupoty 5 contest.

In other news, I had an X-ray of my lower spine yesterday to provide my doctor with a close up view. Now he has that as well as an MRI. What’s next, a cat scan? I’m going to glow in the dark before its all over with!

Last night’s dinner with Barb, Frank, and Barb’s bff was so much fun. The food was tasty and the company divine! We laughed a lot and that is so good for the soul. ☺️ We both came bearing gifts and I can’t wait to look at the magazine she gave me as well as sample the See’s chocolates she brought us. What a treat! The place was called Cooper’s Hawk and its a winery and restaurant. I had to break my alcohol fast and have a glass of cab. Surely one won’t affect my medication that much.

Of course, I forgot to take photos, but that’s what happens when you are having too much fun in the moment. For the foodies, I had a turkey burger and fries (a few…I don’t care for white potatoes much) and it was pretty tasty. Barb and Frank had Mahi and her friend had a salad. Dave had a good ole cheeseburger. Everyone left sated and satisfied!
