We got back into town yesterday afternoon. It’s good to be back at my brother’s house for a little while.
It takes a couple of days taking our time to offload the bus. If we forget something, it’s no big deal because we will be making several trips to the storage area and can get it then.
We keep the bus in a covered storage area in Ft Worth, and it’s only a twenty minute drive. It’s really the only place we’ve found near our town, so we stick with the same place every time.
As I’ve said before, we have many things to take care of while we are here, so it’s probably God telling us that going to the Carolinas wasn’t a good idea anyway.
The bus has a few minor things that need repairs, the dogs need to go the vet and the groomers, we need to have our checkups at the VA, etc.
While here, we will also be thinking about getting a place somewhere if not actively looking. We want to get our things out of the other storage and not have that bill anymore.
I’m also hoping to have time to visit friends and family while we are “home”. Our niece is growing up quickly, so we need to go see her before she’s driving, lol. (She’s two)
I’m past tired, but wanted to write The Sunday Message and update everyone that we made it home safely.

We have already been out to dinner once and today we were invited to friends Gary and Maria’s house to watch that train wreck of a Cowboys game and eat brisket. If things continue in this fashion, it will be a very busy two months!
