The prompt is given by Linda G Hill, which you can find here.

Before I decide what I’m going to do for the day, I check the weather…mainly for the high of the day. In Florida, I might change three times a day.

Today was kind of a free day, and I was happily doing stuff inside the house, like bingeing “Mayor of Kingstown.” okay, I cleaned a closet too, but only because I can’t find an item I need and it was a hot mess in there.

After I cleaned it, I felt better but didn’t find said item. I think I might have left it at my brother’s house. 😒 Now that closet, at least, is organized. Two more to go.

This afternoon, we took a break and joined the rest of the gang poolside to watch/play cornhole. They set it up on the long end of the pool area. Of course, it was no where near pool time, so that was better than sitting around chewing the fat, yet there was lots of that too.

We never tire of spending time with each other, thank goodness. I was late for donuts and coffee, a social activity that just recommenced today, but when I got there, all the people were still there! It starts at nine and I got there around ten-thirty. No donuts, and I’d already had coffee, so I mingled, of course. That’s really why I go anyway is to meet new people and hang with the regulars.

Had it not been so darn chilly, we probably would be back in the clubhouse playing games or watching one, but we are back to bingeing our show. Several nights, they have talked about doing a big campfire, but things must keep coming up.

I’m privy to the fact that most people doing their streams in the morning, but I am lucky I’m posting at all. I somehow found so much to do, it almost slipped my mind! 😉

  1. It was nice to read about your day. And searching for something happens to me too. I have not yet posted 😕

    1. Its funny, because I’m usually pretty good about having a place for everything, keeping it in the same place so I can find it again. But come “moving day” we are rushed, therefore I tend to forget or misplace something and that’s what happened. Oh well, what I needed can be replaced at minimal cost.
