Thank you to the lovely Linda G Hill who accepted my prompt word for today’s post.
So I was watching this show on Prime or Paramount, one or the other called Population 11, a bit of mystery and humor mixed together and the series (one season) is based in a tiny town in Australia.

What struck me was their antipodean way of speaking, where everything they say sounds like a question? Have you ever noticed that?
Watch any show featuring Austrailians, or New Zealanders and see if you don’t notice it yourself.
The story is about a young man in trouble who travels to Australia from the US in search of his father, who has gone missing. Solving this mystery takes the entire series to solve, the ending much of what you’ve come to expect, is not as good as the search and it’s process.
Still, I think its worth a go, just to see these talented but mostly unknown stars shine. Australians all strike me as rather tongue-in-cheek, like everything they say is funny, yet puzzling at the same time. Remember the famous movie Crocodile Dundee?
