Nicotine Free

Is what I’ll soon be!

I got my super fruity 0-Nicotine vape yesterday, and I’m hoping that by using it, I’ll eventually stop vaping the Enjoy (with 5% nicotine). I’m not crazy about it either, because the strawberry flavor is almost medicine strong, and the finish is icy. I don’t like that, I never smoked or vaped menthol. Its not minty it is icy. It is comparable to cough syrup with a cold finish.

So to recap, I haven’t had but one drink in two months and four days, I’m exercising every day, and now I’m trying to quit vaping nicotine.

So why is my LDL and cholesterol borderline high?

Well, before I started this new health quest, I was eating way too much whatever I wanted. Sugar, (which got me in trouble, so I will be off that again soon) bread, drinking at least one beverage daily or several days a week. And red meat. Hamburger night once per week, home made, but still! Steak the same.

I mean, really though, we don’t eat that badly. We eat at home the majority of the time. Salads, fruit, and cereals are in our daily diet. Canned or fresh veggies, some nuts and nut butter. Fish, but not as often as we should. I eat mainly sugar free candy, but have a sweet spot for popcorn and caramel corn.

By losing weight, exercising, and stopping ALL of my vices or at least cutting down to very near quit, I should better my health. And, it’s still going great with my barefoot shoes! So pray my pain will just keep decreasing day by day!

    1. Thank you, Anne.
Things should improve once I get my arthritis meds.
With alcohol and nicotine out of my system, I’m hoping to see long term benefits from that.

    1. No on the butter-too expensive!
Yes on sweet potatoes, love them. Love plantains as well, but should probably cook them a different way than frying.
I’ve just about kicked the nicotine, I only had a bout four puffs all day yesterday.
Thanks for your prayers. I will only have a drink for special occasions, not a daily occurance.
