Here I am after several days of patiently waiting (ok, maybe not quite patiently ) and my site is now up thanks to the hard work and dedication of Mr Ernest (Dawg) Federspiel!
What say you? Do you like it?
I do, I love it, its fresh and new and I needed a change. Unfortunately, I am not tech savvy, but he certainly is. I mean, just look at his site!!
Thank you Dawg, from the bottom of my heart.
And now, I will be able to keep and cherish his books, because I purchased both and they are actual books I can hold in my hand.
If you would like to check out his books, he sells them on his site-they are called Silent Screams and Ink Stained Love.

Since we last spoke, Dave and I went out to the bus to start the process of cutting into our beautiful new Corian countertop to make a hole for the sink. Talk about nerve-wracking! This slab of countertop was $600. Neither of us want to see that cracked or otherwise ruined. However, with faith in our skills and a prayer to God, we started the cuts.

This is us and how far we got yesterday in the process. He had to use two different kinds of saws, and still, the Corian was tough and ate them up. We could see the cuts were about halfway through. I held the shop vac hose in front of the blades as he cut, reducing the amount of Corian dust but not much. We were covered by n it and the entire living room (at least) was covered in it. A deep clean will be necessary before hitting the road.
So today, he has gone back out to the bus at the storage facility to continue the work. He got something set up so that when the sink piece is cut through (hopefully) it doesn’t fall to the floor. It would probably do some damage if that happened because of the weight. I’m praying that all went swimmingly!
He never checks his texts, so I’ve yet to hear an update.
Last night we dined with Dave and Robin (it was so good to catch up with them) at our usual spot, but before that, we went to HD and bought more masonry blades for the jigsaw. Please say a prayer everything worked out ok.
Additionally, please say a prayer for Robin’s mom-Melinda-she is going through radiation and chemo for lung and lymph nodes cancer.
Give me your barks of approval if you like my new design. Is it readable? Do I need to do anything different with thee colors? Let me know. I’m wagging my tail with happiness myself. I love it! I’m so grateful to him for doing it for me, saving my original tree into the design, as well as footprints for my doggies. The old me is up there next to my hubby and the old RV is front and center since that is the main subject of this blog…the travel aspect.
