Be Careful What You Write About and Merry Christmas Everyone!

What else is there to do when you’re stuck inside with a cold instead of out visiting your loved ones on a holiday weekend except catch up on some Christmas classics? As sick as I am of all this sitting around, I have been able to see some I’ve never seen as well as some newer holiday films like Bad Moms Christmas. Tonight, it’s Christmas in Connecticut with Barbara Stanwick like I’ve never seen her. It’s my first time seeing this one and the premise is a writer who makes up stories for a living now has to entertain someone in her make-believe house with her make-believe husband and baby! I can’t wait to see how the whole thing turns out, and I’ll be careful what stories I make up in the future! Luckily for me (so far) I don’t write a regular column for a magazine based on a lie, like she did. She also pretends to be a fabulous cook, when in reality, she has an endearing uncle who supplies her with all over her mouthwatering recipes, while she dines at her desk on canned sardines and crackers.

I’ve seen a few other movies too that I never saw before like Girls Trip and The Hitman’s Bodyguard, both pretty good. All this TV watching is making me feel fat and guilty though, like I should be doing anything but, yet I don’t feel like I should be spreading my germs around to my family and friends.

I’m sorry for the silence lately, being sick and trying to get everything ready for Christmas has me with a bad case of The I-Don’t-Want-Tos. Honestly, I haven’t wanted to do much of anything, but some things you just have to make yourself do. I hope to be feeling better by Christmas and I wish you all a very happy holiday season!
