One of my favorite movies is Far and Away starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. There’s a scene in the movie where Tom’s character calls Nicole’s character a carker (I believe) when I always thought he was saying corker. This word makes so much more sense in the context. Shannon is-or was- a rich brat. Sometimes whiny. That’s a carker.
