In the mid-eighties, today -1986- as a matter of fact, I had my middle son, Joshua. Today he goes by Josh and looks quite a bit different than he did when he was young. I love him despite his demons. He has a loving heart, is kind, funny, and loves to talk.

In my Facebook Happy Birthday post I mentioned that he was my most unique son, and he is. Not only does he have piercings and tattoos, he dyes his hair different colors, wears it shaved on the sides and his girlfriend french braids the top for him, which I like, because it neatens the look.

He is the middle son in what was an abnormal family situation, so really, it was more like he was the oldest. My oldest was raised by my parents, so Dave and I mainly raised Josh and Chris, but Mom and Dad only lived 5 minutes away for most of their upbringing. I just hope he has a good birthday with his friends, and we will see him tomorrow for family dinner since he requested lasagna. I also hope his birthday present gets here in time, if not today, than tomorrow before 5pm!
