“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”
I’m not normally the type to talk of church here on my blog, save for the few times I answer my blogger’s posts, or comment on a particularly moving service on that day. Well, today was another one of those days. I feel it is my duty, therefore, to share the simple that is -you will not be thrown into the Lake of Fire if you just believe and trust in God.
That’s it! It’s really such a no brainer, if you sit and ponder what the eternity of hell really means”. Pastor John, without shouting warnings of fire and brimstone exactly, drove his point home with such clarity and anyone who heard it must have been so moved. I prayed all through the service that no matter my sins, reinforce my belief in God and begged to never be thrown into the Lake of Fire.
It’s a scary thing to wonder if your faith is strong enough. Do I do enough good deeds to get me into The Kingdom of Heaven. Yeti am calmed by the pastor’s words this morning when he assured us, once we claim our belief in God, we are saved. Only the non-believers and those who have denied His existence will suffer the eternity of Hell. Just have faith. That’s it! If you proclaim to be Atheist, that means you deny the existence of God, so you should be scared I would think. Then again, I don’t understand atheism. Maybe there’s some special clause that says you are exempt from Hell somehow because you are too ignorant of The Word. You better hope so!
So yes. I consider myself blessed indeed because I believe.
I truly hope and pray that you do too.
