I met the morning sun again this morning from Cline’s Landing fishing pier.

My video showed the two minutes it took to fully rise.

Again, I took the most awesome video, but can’t post it here. So sad. But if you can find my Facebook page, it is there.
It was another sweaty walk as the humidity has risen to 83%. The air conditioner cooled me off quickly and after water, coffee, and breakfast, I showered. That fixed everything!
We are starting to imagine how we’ll pack everything for Monday’s departure and we did a trial run just now to see how the bikes will go on the rack…the last thing before departing. It looks like we figured it out, it wouldn’t be such a big deal, but my bike is heavier.
Dave made some adjustments to the rests the tires sit in, and once he did that, they fit more securely. I’m very nervous about it because one, I haven’t ridden it much yet and don’t want it to fall off, and two, it’s a semi-expensive bike. Of course, I will remove the lithium battery before we finally mount the bikes in the rack. The rack sits behind the Jeep, so once they are on it, you can’t open the cargo door. That’s why it’s the last thing to take care of.
Our kitchen area is small but sufficient for us. It’s easy to put everything up and secure all the cabinet doors. I’ve got to figure out what all we need at Kevin’s for at least a month and pack all that accordingly. We will probably go all the way to Alvarado, spend a night there and secure our storage facility for the month before getting to Kevin’s. I have clothes, food, and crafting stuff to pack up, but we’ll probably handle that once in Alvarado.

I made both holders and keep on finding more ideas for others. I guess when we get home, everyone will wonder why my tan isn’t any better than it is, but I protect my face every day. Before makeup, I apply my facial sunscreen, moisturizer, and base. That’s kept it looking pretty good. I don’t want (more) wrinkles or a leather-looking face!

I haven’t done as many craft projects as I wanted, but there’s still some time to work on Chris’s project. I don’t know what Josh would want, but I have his girlfriend taken care of. He is having car trouble (naturally since he found a good job) so I don’t want to bother him. Kevin’s is done, and I’ve also taken care of Rayven. I’ll package her stuff up when we get ready to go to Ohio.
I’ve done plenty of exercise this week, so I’m going to take it easy today. I hope everyone is figuring out ways to beat the heat! What’s for lunch? 😉 I’ll be having my light lunch of apples and yogurt mixed with a dab of peanut butter, mmmmm! Chicken for dinner I guess. Con ensalada y vegetales. Y tu?
Lo siento, I did a marathon Spanish lesson este mañana. Estoy entiendo mucho! Tú comprendes?
