Today for Linda Hill’s Saturday challenge, I’ve been inspired to write a poem about my first visit with my half sister, Barb and her hubby Frank.
Ode to Barb & Frank
She was kind of sparkly
Jewels on her ears and fingers
He was kind and warm
With a smile that really lingers
It’s true I only just met her
But we have a deep connection
If we play our cards right
I have all the confidence
Our friendship will be perfection
I long to know her better
If God gives us more time
I hope we never lose touch
This sweet sister of mine!
