Fun in February

Good morning everyone, or should I say afternoon?

Dar has given us a bit of a prompt to answer here in this post, lets see what I can do with it.

Floundering February

I’m hoping for a fun February, filled with activities. There’s Valentines Day, and two birthdays this month- Dave and Sean.

On the calender, we have quite a few activities from the Super Bowl party to a field trip to a sugar cane factory!

One day we have Paint and Sip, the cost is $30 but I plan to be in attendance! I haven’t painted since we were “at home” last.

Of course, I’ll be working on my Diamond Art when I can, which won’t be daily because sitting that long really hurts my back. I did it for several hours yesterday and even with breaks, my back was in a state all night.

I am hoping after my procedure on Tuesday (the nerve block injection) I’ll be pain free and up for anything, but we will see.

I want to spend lots of time with Barb and Frank, who I haven’t seen but once since the holidays. She’s had covid and they are also busy at work and with their own family.

I’m definitely bored and floundering for something to do than I can do! Luckily today is warmer, so my friends and I plan to go to the pool for a while this afternoon.

Maybe I’ll be stronger this month and can put the cane away. Then I could get back to rock tumbling, and making a trip or two to the beach!

If you want to take a stab at Dar’s prompt, click the link above and borrow her picture of a flounder.

Have a beautiful, fun day!

  4. Thanks for the pin. Good luck with the procedure. That sounds like the most floundering part of your month ahead. You have some fun things planned. I am jealous of the warm weather, beach time, and swimming. I’m glad someone gets to!

I wonder. Do you lay your project down flat on the table to Diamond Paint? I have to use an easel so I don’t hurt my back bending over constantly.

    1. No, I’ve never tried with an easel, I don’t know if I could do it that way. It would help I’m sure!

      1. Some light boards come with the easel. Not too expensive.
