Art Deco

We had the joy of crafting together yesterday! It was a group of like-minded ladies who paid $5 to make an ornament.

Actually, I’m sure the money was for supplies. Felt, sequins, glitter, etc.

This is the example for my motorhome.

We picked the type of motor home we have and decorated an example. She had cute little laminated fifth wheels, class a’s, and trailers. Mine is a class a.

My take on the example.

Its the only thing Christmas-y in my home. 😒

I hope Dave goes fishing or sometand then I’ll decorate and he won’t care because he didn’t have to do it! 🤣

The craft coordinator took a picture of all of us with our creations.

I don’t have the kinds of materials we used today or I would make more, but I do have one of the Christmas sweater ornaments we made last year. With those and a little garland and lights-of course- I wont win a contest, but it will feel a bit more like Christmas in the house.

Meanwhile, I cannot for the life of me hang my diamond art of the boys and me anywhere that it doesn’t keep falling off the wall! 😡

I’ve tried everything and its not working. Alien tape anyone??

I’m sure its because it isn’t properly framed and the Deco-duct tape I used for that purpose isn’t working. I’ll figure it out eventually.

In other news, I had my nerve block injection today, so I should be feeling better in about two or three days: weirdly, I was already in the books for this procedure. How did they know we would be back? Maybe, my pain doctor, wonderful guy that he is, scheduled it before we ever left-just in case.

Whatever the reason, I am grateful. I had a different doc do the procedure than last time, but he was equally good.

Ive had to rest today, but soon I’ll be walking, riding, and swimming with glee! What a good 🎁 for me!

Oh I’m not in shorts every day here, we’ve had some pretty chilly mornings this week! 46 in Florida is chilly!

    1. Thanks you, Patricia! It was working so well that last night we had entertainment and I was able to dance! I didn’t overdo it, resting in between songs.
Congrats to you on a dry Salamanca Market this morning!!

  4. I like the ornament. If 46 is chilly, you wouldn’t want to be here. We’re in the middle of a cold snap. It was 11 this morning. I’m glad you should be feeling better soon.
