I have many wishes for this holiday season, including a wish that all my friends and their families have the best Christmas ever.

Right now, however, I just wish we weren’t spending today pulling up the brand new floor we recently installed because of a water leak. Not really how we would like to be spending our Saturday, but when your house rolls, repairs are a necessary evil.

I hate to even mention evil when talking about the holidays, and I wish I didn’t have to, but you know it doesn’t stop, just because its Christmas. Be diligent, be aware, keep your head on a swivel and a prayer in your heart and lets wish for a peaceful, crime-free Christmas!

They have doubled in their annoyances, e-mailing, texting, and calling, trying to trick me or trip me up and hoping I’ll fall for bait. No way! Not falling for the banana in the tailpipe as Eddy Murphy quotes. Do not open any texted link promising everything from weight loss to a brand new job. Don’t do it!

I’m happy to share that sister Barb and I went to the mall where she works and had a lovely evening together, strolling through the stores and having a girls night treat at a bar/restaurant there in the mall. We shared a special just for ladies night featuring the best Cesar salad I’ve ever had and French fries. They know what ladies want, am I right? Also we had one half-priced beverage.

The mall is so beautiful at this time of the year, I wish you all could see it, but I didsnap a few pics. Enjoy the gallery!

I don’t have such lavish taste myself, I’m happy with what I’ve got and so for me, I’ll be happy just spending more time with my hubby, my sis and her family, and the wonderful friends we have made here in the park!

In fact, tonite we have entertainment by yet another local talent Peter DeJesse. Last night was game night and we all brought appetizers and had fun just playing around. They try to keep us happy and entertained around here, yet lots of times we make our own fun!

We both (Dave and I) wish you a Merry Christmas, free from drama, home repairs, or unnecessary spending so we can all start the New Year in a good place!
