Test Post

Will it Too Disappear?

Hey! I have not been blogging because my editor is acting crazy, deleting posts if I hit the back button. So frustrating! I tried deleting some old post from 2018 to see if that would work, but it’s too slow.

I wrote a looong post last Sunday and was so excited to share, forgot a picture and hit the back button and poof! It all went away and I just about sat down and cried. I didn’t, but I was exhausted and did not try again.

I’ve also taken lots of pics I wanted to share but didn’t want to if it all were to disappear again. I talked to the AI assistant who said they would be happy to connect me to a human if we couldn’t resolve the problem, but I thought I’d try a test post first.

Maybe I just need to hit “save draft” every so often and then I can hit the back button and not have my post disappear?

Yes! That seemed to work. Ok, I’ll show a small gallery of pics I’ve wanted to share and save my story from last weekend for tomorrow’s Sunday Message.

So, previously, I had failed making a batch of almond flour and sugar free chocolate chip cookies because I used honey in place of agave syrup. This time I subbed agave for sugar free maple syrup and sugar free chocolate chips and it worked!

We finally had the warned about termite swarm. Darn things were everywhere! Inside drawers and cabinets…dead of course. They aren’t the kind that eat your wood, they are just a nuisance. I had to vacuum the entire house, and wash our bedding…yes- they even got in bed with us!!! Annoying!

I had not taken a pic of or with Dave in a long while, so at the restaraunt the other day, I took one. The wild blackberries at the woods edge are ripening quickly. They are small but sweet/tart.

I’ve drawn another since this but wanted to show this one. Still need to work on uniformity and patience. I need to spend more time on basic shapes of .si

Again, the sentence before this one needed an edit, but the editor won’t let me go back and change it so I had to start a new paragraph from the block editor to even keep writing. So still some issues! Anyway, what I’m trying to say is I need to spend time on the basics, so I just now ordered a Zentangle Basics Workbook from Amazon.

  1. Got it!! Sometimes hitting the “save draft” button can help them a lot of situations. The same with me. Sometimes I forget to do that as well, and I am almost in tears. So I know how you feel. Those blackberries look amazing! Have you been eating them? Good job on your zentangle! And your cookies!

    1. Thank you! I just ate those few I picked. I’m going to wait til more ripen, or maybe when I feel better (I hurt my right knee) I’ll go for a walk with Jim where they are growing thicker.
I’m so happy my cookies turned out right!

  3. I’ve said this a lot lately..Life was so much more less stressful when the phone hung on the kitchen walk. TECH and I do not get along which is why I haven’t blogged in a very long time.

  5. What a lot of vacuuming work!! I have to take rest breaks when I vacuum. I try to think of it as not just cleaning but exercising at the same time. lol

  7. I always write my posts in a word document and later copy paste them on my page. And I save draft. It must be so frustrating.. Sometimes I write on my email. It is always saved as draft .
