Hello all!

Computers drive me crazy, don’t they you sometimes? I am trying to figure out why my transcription software shows the correct time, but then when I hard return to add my time stamp, it shows a different time. Example: The software shows the time to be 00:02:21. I hard return to insert the time stamp and it shows 00:04:32. Ugh! I have talked to my instructor back and forth in emails, and reviewed the class on time codes just to make sure I’m doing it right. All my settings are correct. I don’t get it. It makes me so angry that the instructor assumes it’s my fault, or that I must be doing something wrong. Maybe I am, but I don’t know what it could be. Any transcriptionists out there that can help me figure this puzzle out?
