Though the month of the ghoul is upon us

I don’t see any on my horizon

I see falling leaves and changes in weather

Halloween decor going up too early

And the onslaught of scary shows on tv

Ghosts, goblins, and ghouls don’t haunt me

Just the Spector of what used to be.
