Writing Prompts

SoCS 10-02-21 Inspired to Write

So Linda is visiting Dan at the bar this morning and here is your Saturday SoCS prompt:
Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “inspire/aspire/expire.” Use them in any form you like. Use one, use two or use them all if you want. If you use two, you get bonus points! If you use all three, Cheryl will put your next drink on David’s tab. Enjoy!

After reading everyone else’s SoCS streams this morning, I’m inspired to write one of my own!

I enjoyed these posts from Jilly and Dan (aka Linda) this morning, the early birds that they are!

I’ll take a frozen swirl please! That’s my drink of choice, a frozen margarita with sangria swirled in. Tastes like a liquid sweet tart! Let’s get on with the prompts!

I aspire to be half the writer Linda is! She is so accomplished and I’ve done nothing like that, even though I write a lot. I do have a ton of creative posts on Medium, but some factual or non-fiction posts as well. I hope to write a book someday before I expire, however, I don’t feel the time is right just yet. I haven’t even come up with a theme yet. I used to want to write my life story, but who would want to read that??

Here lately, i barely have time to read a book, much less write one.

Well, this has been fun, but I feel my dad staring at me, wondering probably where his breakfast is, so I must go. I sure wish I was at the bar with Dan, Linda, and David, they are having way more fun than me. 😛😘
