Wish Me Luck! 4-25-22 WOD Challenge

I entered a contest for Vocal+ (a platform for writing within Medium) and got it submitted this morning.

The prompt was to write a 600-5,000 word story in the Ship of Dreams contest, but you had to rewrite history in a way. We were tasked with writing a fictional tale about someone on the Titanic.

My protagonist was Alana Trebuchet, an aspiring dancer hoping to make it big in New York and end up on Broadway. Problem was, she had no money, so she devised a plan to stowaway on the massive ship.

I will keep you posted on who wins and if I even place. My word count came in a two words shy of 5,000. 🤗 I am proud of my story line as well. I hope they enjoy it!
