Traveling long periods of time in a car is so tiring and kind of debilitating for me.

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is ‘bagged.’ Use it any way you’d like. Enjoy!”
This morning, bright and early we bagged up all our belongings, trash, and dirty clothes, put them in their appropriate places and hit the road back home. It was grueling to our butts to think of another 4-5 hours in the car after spending 7+ hours in the car looking at properties.
I didn’t sleep well (hardly at all) last night, took a three hour nap when we got home, and I’m still too tired to do much else, so here I sit writing this post and doing other things on my ipad.
I guess I was trying to figure out how we could manage getting that lake house among other things bending my brain last night. I woke up at 2:30am to pee and never went back to sleep. I’ve been having tummy problems, it was feeling twisted up again, so I didn’t want to disturb Dave and went to lay down in the bunk room. So I tossed and turned until 6:30 and just got up and started preparing myself to leave.
Riding in the car at our age is debilitating because it wears on our butts and backs. At least in the RV, I will be able to move around or lay down, and Dave will be in a pretty cushy seat while tooling down the road, but it will still be stressful until he learns how to drive the darn monster. He is planning on taking a course on driving it before we hit the road. I think that is smart.
Well, my Apple Watch says it’s time to stand, so I think I am going to go swim around and move my body and get some of the kinks out. Enjoy your Saturday and I’ll keep ya posted with any new news!
