Well folks, it’s a banner day!
First to report is that I got Dave to accompany me to the ice cream social today! I was so happy I actually took a chance and had a rootbeer float!! Pray it doesn’t cause me grief!
We saw a couple of people I met last night at Bunco, yes that’s the second bit of news! I finally got to attend a group activity 😃 It was so fun and way faster-paced than the Bunco we played at home. No time for gabbing around the food or while game was being played. Roll the dice and get through the rounds so everyone can get home early 🤣😂

Yesterday, as we were out grabbing the mail, we took a detour so Dave could go see what all the planes were in the desert near us. Turns out it’s a graveyard for out of commission airplanes, and a National Guard Training Center and Helipad, but goes by other names as well. I tried to get a photo from the web, (above) but it may be copyrighted because it didn’t let me copy it. I have my own, but they are all behind a fence. If there’s a way to visit inside, we didn’t see it.

Dave discovered more museums he’d like to visit while looking at Google Earth, while I am interested in seeing Sedona and the Grand Canyon while we are here, as well as the nearby Picacho Peak State Park.
I hold no anger in my heart today, my ❤️ is happy now that we’ve taken the first baby step to socialization 😘. Everyone knows Dave is a great guy, he’s just shy and takes a minute to warm up to people. Lots of the men playing Bunco last night appeared to be grouchy at first, til the ice was broken. Then we were all laughing and kidding around ☺️.
