Right out of the box I need to say that referring to yesterday’s post, things can change and sometimes they do, resulting in good times all around!

I’m going to leave you to ponder that while I address Linda G Hill’s SoCS prompt for today: Your prompt for #JusJoJan and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “out of the box.” Write about the first thing that comes to mind when you think “out of the box.” Enjoy!

We still give Amazon a lot of business, so we are always getting something out of the box -or bag as it were. Just today I received the tension bars I ordered to keep everything in the refrigerator from sliding out during travel. The door latches, of course, but with heavier items like a bottle of wine, I don’t trust it to stay shut. I am not going to take the risk. Of course, we can also use them on the cabinets to keep glasses from tumbling out. I’m probably going to do a bit of reorganization before the next trip to western Arizona.

We had to go into the sad little town of Eloy today to get some hardware to finish our repair under the sink, which Dave will do tomorrow. I feel so bad for that town because it is very old and run-down. I think it would take a billionaire to revive it, and it doesn’t look like the inhabitants care much at all. I guess the main sources of income are the truck stops and a truss factory. But, it’s a close spot for us to run and get fill-in groceries, hardware, or dollar store items, which saves us time and money so we don’t have to go all the way to Tucson or Casa Grande. Right out of the box I’d say the IGA in Eloy is about 1/8th the size of a Walmart Super center, but it will do in a pinch.

Otherwise, the news is just a lazy Saturday catching up on reading and writing, looking up things we need or want to know about on the internet, and later hopefully, another round of Acey Duecy. When we miss a game night like last night, we can always play that together. Also, neighbor Darcy finished adding a few rows to Whiskey’s sweater he made her, and now they both have colorful crocheted sweaters for the cool evenings around here!
