Today I will tell you more transition stories and we’ll deal with Linda G Hill’s Stream of Consciousness, which is:
Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “back of the fridge.”Write the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the phrase “back of the fridge.” Enjoy
This week has been very busy with multiple trips to the house to clean and transfer things from our house to Kevin’s, the storage, and the RV. I think it was Monday when I cleaned out the back of the fridge, and then wiped down all the bins and shelves.
You don’t know the filth you ignore until you have to do that job. I’ve seen worse, but ours was pretty grimy on the shelves. 🤣
As I tried to fit things in Kevin’s fridge, I found I had to utilize the back of the fridge for lesser used items, because he rarely looks for anything very long before thinking he’s lost it, or loses interest. Ahhh, the life of a bachelor. Other factors of this transition are frustrating too, not that we aren’t grateful for a place to stay.
Yesterday, I felt some better, so I did the laundry, ran the dishes and put them up, then went to my house to help Dave clean drawers in the kitchen out, water the plants, and put more things in our cars for trips back to Kevin’s and the storage. If I feel better today (because I started feeling bad after a while yesterday) we will take more out to the RV. We don’t want to take everything out there yet, because it needs to go in for service before our first outing. I’m not sure when that will be, but we need to call and find out when they’re available to do it.
It’s unfortunate that I’m puny while trying to get all this done, but I’ve rested quite a bit too. It’s difficult for me to sit still knowing things need to be done. I don’t want to end up in the hospital though, so I must follow the doctors orders strictly. Hopefully, the antibiotics do their job and I feel better real soon. I already looked at a diet for diverticulitis for when I can transition to more solid food again. It’s not bad, especially when you’re bored to death of a liquid and bland diet. 🤮
I hope you better well. Now you doing work. You don’t do hard work.
God bless you 😉

I’m tired just thinking about all you’ve done. I think I’ll sit for a while. Sorry. Good luck getting past all this and on the road.

I sm sure you will take care of your health. It is only when we have to leave a place, we realize how much we have stored 😊

Thank you, it’s got to be slow and steady. I tried cottage cheese and canned pears yesterday- evidently it was too soon. ☹️
