Maybe The Third Tume Is A Charm?

Ok, I’m gonna blast through this post cause of ve tried twice now and it’s disappeared…twice!

The rainy days this week have given me time to tangle-i love saying that- so I have new work to show you, sadly I can’t find the inspo for the snail. Oh well, I must press on. Here’s all my latest in gallery form. The snail was a three-day project.

Yesterday, I had a whole post written explaining the steps and rules of Zentangle but it disappeared when I hit the back button. The editor doesn’t let me edit once I pause typing, I used to be able to back out and come back to edit, but now it just disappears! I’m so fed up!

Im not going to do the steps today, it’s kind of long but what. Might be able to do is point you-if you’re even interested- to a guy who has perfected them and broken them down in several posts. He has workbooks and teaches classes to I think. His name is Mario. The actual inventors of Zentangle I’ve mentioned before, and another teacher I found on Pinterest said a good test was to tangle your name.

Of course, I do it all “my way” which is wrong. When I slowdown and d the actual steps, it turns out better. I did not read the wholepost, therefore I have too many sections in my name. But hey, it’s art and rhere’s no rules when it comes to art. You draw what you feel, and I could maybe do it better, or different but it wouldn’t be the same as what I came up with. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 😃

I have found so many cute animals I want to draw now so as to do them correctly, I probably should go doMarios steps a zillion times and practice the real techniques before moving on to animals or landscapes.

In other news, my bed that I got for $100 is in the romnow and we can properly receive guests! Dave even went and got me a new comforter set for it and my friend Julie gave me some sheets for it when she came to visit! Here is the new (old) bed.

You can’t see cause the bed is so tall, but there is a bedside table and tiny lamp too. 🤣

One more note…Riverfest may be a washout, I’ll have o check the socials. I really wanted to see Casey Donahue tonight but it’s raining, in the 60’s with gusty wind, so no thank you. I’m staying right where I’m at. Hopefully, we will get to go Sunday afternoon/evening for the boat races. We have always gone to the 4-day festival and it has never rained. I feel so sorry for the planners/promoters. Surely the rain and lightning would cancel the music? Idk.

I forgot one last thing. I’m having another round of injections to n Tuesday and they have to go deep into the area above my hip from my back if that makes sense, and this time I need to be sedated so that I will relax enough for him to go that deep. I know God’s got this yet I’m a tiny bit anxious just the same. I’d appreciate an extra prayer. ☺️
