Thanking God for His Creation

Revelation 4:11

”You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Afternoon everyone!

I was unable to attend church today so I decided to bring my own message this afternoon -inspired by God’s word, of course.

Ive been noticing the little things in nature lately and took a fe pics to represent God’s creation. Enjoy!

We have tons of dragonflies in our yards daily.

We’re literally watching the grass grow because of how much rain we’ve gotten so far this summer!

Between Jim’s feeder and mine, we enjoy watching hummingbirds often and other birds at our bird feeder.

It’s these little creations of God’s that makes life enjoyable, reduce blood pressure, and induce calm. Do you think He might have had that in mind when He made them?

I realize each has a real purpose, but sometimes I wonder if he didn’t just create them for us to enjoy.

Now, there are some things in His creation I can do without.

This morning, for instance, I went to check our tomato plant and overnight it had become loaded with horrible tomato worms!! Gross! It used to be my job when I was young to pull them off Dad’s tomatoes but I could do it today. So I sprayed them with Seven and Dave finished them off when he got home. 🤢

Mosquitoes can all go away. Why? What is their purpose I wonder? Wasps. They too can find a home somewhere else. I don’t bother them if they don’t bother me. If God created them, they have a purpose.

I do thank God that we have so many things in His universe that we can enjoy. ☺️
