Romans 8:1-17

The very first passage in Romans 8 tells us that for those who are in Jesus Christ there is no condemnation. Zero!

You are a believer and as a believer, your sins have been forgiven. You can’t let Satan keep whispering in your ear that you aren’t good enough, or that what was true in the past is still true today. Hogwash!

This is the hardest thing for Christians to come to grips with. They keep falling for the lies. We all are just sinners saved by grace, but that’s just it! We are saved by grace!!

Believe this instead; you are free! Yes! Jesus died a horrible death to pay for my sins and yours. God loves you and wants a relationship with you. Not when you pay for the sins of your past. Now! You are free to pursue a relationship with God, thank goodness.

To move forward is to honor God. Wake up and praise Him. Thank Him for all He has done for you, is doing for you and will do for you. Be grateful and thankful.

I have a friend at church who’s husband is not nice to her and it breaks my heart. He is always bringing her down and telling her she’s not worthy. How she stays married to him I don’t know, but myself and others have tried to tell her not to believe his awful words. She is worthy, she’s a wonderful, helpful, generous person! God loves her. It’s his hangups that makes him so negative and unkind. He needs a good talking to or some counseling from the pastor but that’s not my place so I have to stay out of it.

I just feel so bad for her. Say a prayer for “Kathy” when you say your prayers tonight. Also, a friend of the family passed away on Saturday. His name was Dennis and his family is hurting yet they are remembering the good times and the loving but misguided soul that he was. So pray for his family as well. Dennis was Becky’s (chris’s ex-girlfriend ) stepdad.

I appreciate all your prayers for friends and family and for myself too. 😌
